The demo is available in 'vanilla' and 'strawberry' flavours, with the former containing fewer languages and football leagues to save on download space. If you find that your current crop of free-to-play MMOs is missing a distinctive Star Wars flair, we have good news. The previously announced massively multiplayer online title Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures has kicked off a public beta and is accepting entries right now.

Based in the Clone Wars universe (go figure), Adventures is a free-to-play MMO developed by Sony Online Entertainment; however, players can choose to pay $5.99 per month in order to gain access to a variety of unnamed bonuses. The final version of the game will launch on September 15 alongside a 90-day pass at retail, which includes "500 Station Cash, the ability to unlock the Togruta playable character, a Yoda monitor topper, and more." Sony Online Entertainment has announced that it is developing and publishing a free-to-play MMORPG based upon the Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon that airs on Cartoon Network in the United States. Monthly memberships will also be available along with requisite bonuses.
