Good news, everyone! Despite releasing a piece of F.E.A.R. 2 downloadable content last week without the musical accompaniment we've come to expect, developer Monolith has since rectified the situation in the form of this "Replica Gone Rogue" video.

An incredible montage sequence tells the creation of F.E.A.R. 2's slow-mo deathmatch mode, arriving in a free update alongside the upcoming 'Reborn' downloadable content.
Reborn, which adds a new four-level mini campaign told from the perspective of Replica Soldier Foxtrot813, is scheduled for release on September 3 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Read more »

Dank screenshots and a dingy trailer give the first look at F.E.A.R. 2's upcoming 'Reborn' downloadable content, due to arrive September 3 on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
A free title update will accompany 'Reborn' to add a slow-mo deathmatch mode, where a power-up slows the bearer's enemies and no doubt makes everything look all fancy.

New single-player is headed to Monolith's F.E.A.R. 2 next month in the form of a DLC campaign dubbed "Reborn."
The content will include four levels of a length equal to those found in the original game, according to an IGN interview with the developers. Players will take on the role of replica soldier foxtrot 813 as they fight through the extra strages. Read more »

GameStop began a sale today that sees several console titles including Street Fighter IV and F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin slashed to a mere $20 in price.
Other titles of interest include Wanted: Weapons of Fate (360, PS3), Silent Hill: Homecoming (360, PS3) and various Wii games such as MadWorld. The affected titles appear to be marked down online as well as in-store. Read more »

Monolith's "Armored Front" map pack, the second of three announced downloadable expansions for its spooky shooter F.E.A.R. 2, will hit PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 21.
Unlike the first pack, which brought three free multiplayer maps, "Armored Front" delivers two new maps--Conductor and Decoy--and four new character heads at the cost of 540 Microsoft Points ($6.75) to Xbox 360 players and $6.99 for those on PS3. Read more »

Firming up that vague mid-April estimate, publisher Warner Bros. today announced that the free "Toy Solider" multiplayer maps for F.E.A.R. 2 will hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 16, and also revealed details on two other forthcoming downloadable add-ons.
The second pack will bring more Elite Powered Armor multiplayer maps to Monolith's spooky shooter in May, with additional single-player levels and multiplayer maps due later in the summer. Pricing for these two downloadable packs was not provided. Read more »

The free "Toy Soldiers" downloadable map pack for F.E.A.R. 2 will hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in mid-April, a representative of developer Monolith confirmed today.
When asked about a PC release, the representative confirmed to Shacknews that downloadable content is on the way to the PC, but does not yet have a release date. Read more »

While we still don't know all the platforms that the F.E.A.R. 2 "Toy Soldier" pack will hit, developer Monolith has confirmed that the three new multiplayer maps will be free.
The downloadable content is slated to arrive in mid-April. As the content briefly appeared on the Xbox Live Marketplace earlier this week, it's definitely coming for the Xbox 360 version of the spooky shooter sequel, but there's been no word on a PC or PS3 release.

Yesterday, we learned that developer Monolith is bringing three new multiplayer maps to its spooky shooter F.E.A.R. 2. Today, we have screenshots of the oversized arenas.
The downloadable content will debut in mid-April at an unknown price point. No word yet as to what system's it'll hit--F.E.A.R. 2 is available for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
