Moonshot Games has followed up yesterday's Fallen Frontier announcement with a few answers to burning questions. In a blog post, the studio confirmed that it's aiming for release in the first half of 2012. "Fallen Frontier is a big 'small' game!" said co-founder Michel Bastien. "We have a lot of work to do between now and releasing the game."

The developer is still searching for a publisher, though with the buzz we doubt it will have trouble finding one. And as many observers predicted, it will be a downloadable game. Moonshot says it would like to release on Steam, XBLA, and PSN. "That said, a final decision on platforms is usually made with a publishing partner. That'll be the case for Fallen Frontier as well." Bungie vets Moonshot announce Fallen Frontier

Moonshot Games, which was formed over a year ago by ex-Bungie employees, has announced its first game. Titled Fallen Frontier, the game is a 2D side-scrolling shooter. It features a sci-fi setting, plus single-player and co-op modes, so it seems like the developers have kept some of that Bungie DNA.

The team released an announcement trailer for the upcoming game, introducing the story and showing off some gameplay in action. That's all we know so far, though, as no pricing, release dates, or platforms have been announced. Read more »
