The first Evil Genius patch has been released, updating the US retail edition to v1.01. Fixes several game bugs, though to completely fix them you need to start a new game instead of loading a saved game. Thanks 3D Gamers.

There's an Evil Genius Q&A on EuroGamer today, talking to Elixir founder Demis Hassabis about this recently released strategy game. Questions are about the board game aspects, comparisons to Dungeon Keeper, the humor aspect, development time and a few other things.

Evil Genius Fan site Evil Planet is hosting an Evil Genius "design a henchman" competition, to celebrate the release of the Elixir Studios world domination game. First place prize is hanging out at the Elixir office for a day / meet the developers (though you'll have to get to London yourself) and you'll get a signed copy of the game and a poster.
