After more than a decade in operation, the online realm of EverQuest is still kicking, with Sony Online Entertainment today releasing the MMORPG's sixteenth expansion.
Described by Sony as an "unparalleled" expansion for the franchise, the Underfoot add-on sells for $39.99 on the game's official site and other digital distribution outlets, packing all the content of the previous fifteen expansions plus new areas, items, abilities and the like, along with a new achievement system, an "extended target window," and master tradeskilling. Square Enix recently announced Thexder Neo, a downloadable PSP update to the classic Game Arts sidescrolling shooter from 1985.
Though we never played the game in the 80s, apparently Thexder features a fighting robot that can transform into a jet, which certainly sounds like a worthy subject for revision. The Neo version will also be enhanced by new graphics, an online mode for up to six players, and an easy difficulty setting. Read more »
