Ooh, pay-what-you-want games bundles are all the rage nowadays. In fact, they're so popular that they're surely becoming a bit cool by now. Mark my words, 2013 will be the year of make-it-your-damn-self games. For now, though, GOG is getting in on the bundle fun with a pay-what-you-want sale on Larian's Divinity series.

Digital distributor Direct2Drive quietly launched a rental scheme for downloadable PC games last week, though so far it's looking somewhat less than inspiring.
D2D charges $5 for five hours of playtime, then if you want to keep the game, your $5 will be knocked off its price. The selection is very limited at the moment, with only Divinity II - Ego Draconis, F.E.A.R., Race Driver: Grid and Silent Hill: Homecoming available now. D2D notes that "our rental selection will grow in time." Read more »

"Little did I know, to fulfill my destiny I must become the very thing which I have always hunted," explains Divinity II's anguished hero in a new trailer for Larian's action RPG. "I must become my enemy. I must become... a dragon knight." Which he promptly does.
Already out in Europe, Divinity II will be released for PC and Xbox 360 in North America on January 5. In the meantime, try the 1.77GB demo available over on FileShack.

Divinity II - Ego Draconis' North American publisher cdv has released a new trailer showing off the sights, sounds and wildlife of Larian's PC and Xbox 360 action RPG.
Already released in Europe, Divinity II hits North America on January 5, 2010. Until then, you can satisfy your dragon-slaying urges with the demo released earlier this week. Read more »

As if the ability to turn into a dragon were not powerful enough, a new Divinity II trailer reveals that its dragon slayer hero also picks up the handy ability to read minds.
Divinity II - Ego Draconis isn't due to arrive in North America for PC and Xbox 360 until January 5, though Larian's action RPG was realeased in Europe earlier this month.

Divinity II publisher dtp entertainment has today announced that Larian's action RPG sequel to Divine Divinity has gone gold for North America and will arrive for PC and Xbox 360 on January 5, 2010, having been released in Europe last week.
Pre-ordering from GameStop will net fledgling dragon slayers the exclusive Blood Echelon armour and claymore--which apparently "cleaves armor like it was mere flesh." Read more »
