The guys at ARush send along this Devastation demo, allowing you to check out the game's singleplayer part. The 260mb demo offers two levels from the full game, South Urbia and Transit.

Arush Entertainment sent along a Windows server release for Devastation, allowing people to run a dedicated server for the retail 380 release of the game.

The first retail patch for Devastation is out, updating Digitalo's recently released first person shooter to version 380. According to publisher Arush there are "sound changes for weapons, stability fixes for multiplayer, tweaks to the Territories gametype, a new server browser interface, and tons of other improvements that will make the game smoother and better".

Arush Entertainment sends along this change list for an upcoming Devastation patch. Most of the fixes are multi player related, the patch should be out on Monday.

Vince from over at Digitalo let us know that this Florida based developer of Devastation is looking to hire new people. They are looking for an AI programmer, a gameplay programmer, an engine programmer, a level designer and 3D artist as well as a sound designer.

Arush Entertainment sends along word that Devastation is now shipping to stores. The game contains 22 singleplayer levels, 14 multiplayer levels and will be in stores for $39.99. For more info read the press release or check the official site.

It looks like all that whining paid off, Vic DeLeon made a post on the Blues forums saying that the weapons sounds in Devastation will most likely be getting an overhaul. You can check out the Devastation demo here, make sure to get the demo patch too.

Arush Entertainment sends along this performance fix for the Devastation multiplayer demo, fixing the extreme frame rate loss and connection lags that people are experiencing. A patch fixing server browser issues, miscellaneous gameplay issues, physics, and other problems will be released in the coming weeks. According to Arush, the performance problems only exist in the demo, and not in the retail version of the game.

As promised, though quite a bit later than expected, the Devastation multiplayer demo has been released. The 181mb demo offers two levels (CTF and DM modes available) from the full game, which will be in stores soon. More info on the game can be found at the official site.

German Devastation distributor Ascaron has posted a new Devastation trailer, offering more than a minute and a half of ingame footage. The official Devastation site has been updated, offering several new screenshots from Digitalo's now gold first person shooter. Unfortunately, the shots are rather low resolution at just 500 by 375.

Arush let us know that they plan to release the Devastation multiplayer demo next week, March 20. The demo will contain two levels, one of which can be played in Deathmatch mode and the other in CTF mode. You can find two screenshots here.

Arush Entertainment sends along a press release, announcing that Digitalo's Unreal engine powered first person shooter Devastation has gone gold!
