Dubbed "Prince of Persia Retro," the 55.3 MB download is priced at 99¢ and "designed for both iPhone and iPad," meaning that the game will automatically detect which device it's running on and modify its control layout / on-screen graphics accordingly.

Assuming all goes to plan with the MMO, expect to be crafting your own spandex-clad character then fighting alongside and against some well-known legends--Superman, Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern, etc.--on PC and PlayStation 3 later in the year.
With Ubisoft planning to release a number of sequels and follow-ups across the next year, such as Splinter Cell: Conviction and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the publisher has now outlined a new strategy to produce more frequent entries in its top brands.

The form-fitting nature of superhero spandex often leaves little to the imagination--a precedent that the team behind DC Universe Online appears to be firmly behind.
If you're feeling cheeky, look no further than these new screenshots of the 2010-due PC and PlayStation 3 MMO, released by developer Sony Online Entertainment to commemorate the Game Developers Conference currently underway in Austin.

Sony's DC Universe Online is expected to hit the PC and PlayStation 3 in 2010.
