Four years after Rockstar Vienna closed, the veterans that moved on to found developer Games That Matter (re-branded Deep Silver Vienna in 2007) are facing a similar situation, as owner Koch Media has confirmed the closure of that particular studio.

When Koch acquired the studio in 2007, the company said it marked "new era for Deep Silver" as "Deep Silver Vienna will massively push our reputation as an independent publisher." Most recently, it co-developed the Cursed Mountain for Wii and PC. Read more »

Developer Deep Silver has announced and provided some artwork of Cursed Mountain, a Wii game that apparently marks the first survival horror effort to be set in the Himalayas.

Under development by Deep Silver and unspecified partners, the game follows an unnamed mountain climber who, in the search for his lost brother, stumbles across an ancient curse that has produced countless undead villagers and Buddhist monks. Read more »
