Puzzle Chronicles, After Burner XBLA Priced

The latest color-matching puzzler from Puzzle Quest developer Infinite Interactive, Puzzle Chronicles, will hit Xbox 360 as an Xbox Live Arcade download this Wednesday (April 21) alongside SEGA's high-flying shooter After Burner Climax, Microsoft has confirmed.

The two games will sell for 800 Microsoft Points / $10 each, with After Burner Climax due to hit PlayStation 3 as a digital download the following day. Puzzle Chronicles is also slated to hit PlayStation 3 in downloadable form, though when is not yet known.

Puzzle Quest Developer Teams Up With Konami for Puzzle Chronicles

Puzzle Quest developers Infinite Interactive continue to come out with new twists on their signature combination of color-matching gem mechanics with role playing-like stories and character development. Up next is Puzzle Chronicles, arriving February 18 on PSP and Nintendo DS in Europe and around then in North America, followed shortly thereafter by downloadable version on Xbox Live and Playstation Network.

Namco Pairs with Genji and Heavenly Sword Makers

As part of today's GamesCom festivities, publisher Namco has announced new partnerships with Ninja Theory and Game Republic, the studios respectively responsible for early PlayStation 3 releases Heavenly Sword and Genji.

The deal with Game Republic covers two titles, movie tie-in Clash of the Titans and a new PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 action effort dubbed Majin: The Fallen Realm. Both are expected to arrive in the spring of 2010, according to Joystiq reports. Read more »
