Cats & Dogs Film Sequel Inspires Video Game, Publisher Eyeing 'Long Future' for Franchise

It's only taken nine lives years, but a sequel to cult-classic canine propoganda flick Cats & Dogs is about to hit theaters, and you know what that means: a licensed video game.

In this case, publishers 505 Games and Warner Bros. have paired with developer Engine Software BV to bring an interactive rendition of "Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore" to Nintendo DS in July, presumably before the movie's theatrical release on July 30, 2010. Read more »

Muscle March Brings Protein Powder Pursuit to Wii

Namco's barely clothed and amazingly quirky downloadable WiiWare title "Muscle March" is coming to North America this winter.

The muscular mini-game has players chasing after a protein powder thief, with Wii Remote and Nunchuk motions used to match the thief's pose after he blasts through a wall. When players finally near said thief, they shake the Remote and Nunchuk to tackle him.

No word yet as to when exactly the game will arrive (Namco's image of a press release only specified winter) or how much it will run (the Japanese version weighed in at 800 Wii Points / $8), but we'll let you know when we know more. Until then, enjoy: Read more »
