CastleStorm and KickBeat coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Zen Studios is bring multiple games to next-gen systems. First up is KickBeat: Special Edition for PS4 and Xbox One. Originally released on PS3 and Vita, the rhythm fighting game is getting new features and additional soundtracks for next-gen consoles. Like the original, the game will let you import your own music, letting you create new tracks to play along with.

CastleStorm invades mobile with Android beta

Mountain trolls, stone golems, and fire breathing dragons are invading mobile devices. The hybrid tower defense title CastleStorm is coming to Android and iOS devices.

CastleStorm: Free To Siege is a free-to-play mobile game. The four nations from the PC/console original will return with their own troop classes, weapons, and spells. Once the game is released, it will feature eight playable heroes. CastleStorm: Free To Siege will also contain new spells for its mobile versions of the game.

After a little hinting that CastleStorm would catapult onto more platforms, developer Zen Studios today announced it'll land November 5 on PlayStation 3. It's, oh, I don't know, some combination of castle-builder and physics-based castle-smasher and real-time strategy and beat 'em up.

After invading Xbox Live Arcade in May, Zen Studios has announced it's bringing CastleStorm to PC. It's some weird and fascinating blend of RTS, tower defense, Dota, and Angry Birds, where you build up a castle then must smash down your opponent's by deploying troops, rampaging around as a hero, and firing catapults.
