Gearbox and Epic today announced that the Brothers in Arms developer has licensed the Unreal Engine 3. The engine will power Brothers in Arms 3 as well as "other original, unannounced next generation Gearbox titles". BiA: Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood used the previous generation of Unreal technology. Ubisoft sends along new patches for Brothers in Arms, updating Gearbox Software's WW2 action game to version 1.10. The update adds new audio options, mutator support, and fixes mouse clicks activating menu items under movies among other things.
