Kinect Rhythm Party on Xbox Live Arcade on February 1

Are you ready to have a Rhythm Party? It will be available on Xbox Live Arcade on February 1st for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). But, what is Rhythm Party?

Rhythm Party is the US-localized version of Boom Boom Dance, a Kinect dancing game originally announced at Tokyo Game Show. Developed by the Dance Masters team, Rhythm Party lets you dance without a pre-recorded routine to follow. You can go crazy with your freestyle moves, so long as you hit target areas for your hands and feet, in time with the beat.

Boom Boom Dance announced for Kinect

Konami has announced a new Kinect-exclusive dance game for the Xbox 360 called Boom Boom Dance. Revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2011, Boom Boom Dance differs a bit from the Bemani team's previous dance title (Dance Masters), in that players aren't asked to memorize and perform set routines. As shown in the game's announcement trailer below, the game presents players with target areas for the players to hit with their hands and feet, in time with the beat.
