Blur lead designer Gareth Wilson steps up to the microphone to explain the combat racers Team Racing and Team Motor Mash multiplayer modes in a new trailer.
Developed by Project Gotham Racing creator Bizarre Creations and published by Activision, Blur will blaze through North America on May 25 before screeching to a halt in Europe on May 28, smashing into PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Read more »

BioWare has patched the PS3 version of its RPG Dragon Age: Origins, fixing a crashing issue introduced with Sony's official PS3 firmware 3.3.
Additionally, the patch will fix an issue with "free DLC content redeemed with promo codes" as it was not always appearing in the in-game DLC menu. Read more »

On its 2010 fiscal year earnings call, Electronic Arts revealed that over 70% of purchasers of its recent titles that include free, one-time DLC codes with all new copies have redeemed the codes. This includes Mass Effect 2's Cerberus Network, Battlefield: Bad Company 2's console VIP code, and Dragon Age: Origin's The Stone Prisoner.
Additionally, EA is seeing a single-digit percentage of the overall player-base purchase this content instead of redeeming codes. It is unclear, however, is this is due to a small percentage of players actually purchasing these games used without codes or if many do not wish to purchase this content with a used copy. As mega-publisher Electronic Arts begins to detail its annual earnings, the company has also issued a revised schedule detailing its "key titles" through March 2011.
For the most part, the list is similar to the one the company issued in February 2010, though a couple games have been shifted around and / or properly announced.
Perhaps the most noteworthy detail contained within is the listing for Dead Space 2 PC, which was at one time certain but then relegated to being under consideration. Read more »

Publisher Activision has released a pair of new trailers for Project Gotham Racing developer Bizarre Creations' new racer Blur, explaining its career mode and power-ups.
Blur is scheduled for a PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release on May 25 in North America, before screeching to a halt in Europe on May 28.
The first covers its Super Mario Kart-like power-ups, which are scattered throughout the track and offer handy abilities including blasting an enemy or repairing your ride. Read more »

Speaking on Kotaku's podcast, Bizarre Creations' lead designer Gareth Wilson revealed that the currently-underway Xbox 360 multiplayer beta for the studio's power-up racing game Blur will soon be opening up to everyone on Xbox Live.
Access to the beta was limited by codes that were released, but Bizarre hopes to have the beta available for all to download directly by April 6th. Read more »
