Blood Bowl developer Cyanide Studio has announced an expanded 'Legendary Edition' of its violent sports strategy title based upon the Games Workshop tabletop game.
The Legendary Edition adds a 'Story Mode,' casting players as a freelance coach who will "have to lead several famous teams and take up many challenges through a story revealing the origins of Blood Bowl, the Old World and its many races." Read more »

The Xbox 360 edition of Blood Bowl will stomp onto North American retail shelves in January 2010 alongside the PC original, publisher SouthPeak Games has announced.
Cyanide's video game adaptation of the violent American football-inspired Warhammer sports board game by Games Workshop is currently available on PC worldwide through digital distribution and received European PC and 360 retail releases earlier in the year. Read more »

Blood Bowl developer Cyanide has announced a free update will add Dark Elves to its PC adaptation of Games Workshop's American football-inspired game in November.
The Dark Elves--who "combine Elven agility with a cruel brutality"-- have their own "Star Player, cheerleaders, new model designs and unique animations," Cyanide explains. Read more »

New screenshots of violent Warhammer-ish football game Blood Bowl show the game's star players, powerful units who appear especially talented at smashing faces.
On show are the high-kicking human Griff Oberwald, orc champion Varag Ghoul-Chewer, mohawked elf Jordell Freshbreeze and stompy minotaur Grashnak Blackhoof.

Publisher Focus Home Interactive has released a new trailer and screenshots of Cyanide Studio's fantasy-inspired football title Blood Bowl.
Based on Games Workshop's board game of the same name, Blood Bowl will support both real-time and turn-based play. The game is expected to hit PC and Xbox 360 later this year, with Nintendo DS and PSP editions arriving later. Read more »
