Midway has let loose another over-the-top trailer for its muy ridiculoso arcadey football game, Blitz: The League II. This time around, a "late hit" feature brings a fighting mini-game to the end of many--if not most--plays.
Blitz returns to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 13. Players are advised to wear a cup.

Midway sends along four more videos from Blitz: The League 2 (PS3, X360), which is shipping to stores October 13.The first video features touchdown celebrations, which aren't nearly as outrageous as the game's injuries and subsequent medical care.

Publisher Midway has released a sequel to its injury-filled trailer for Blitz: The League II, this time showing how to heal injured players to get them back in action. In short, it's messed up.
The over-the-top football and health care sim will hit Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in October.

Following up on a teaser image, publisher Midway has officially announced the next entry in its "bone-crushing, no-holds-barred" arcade football franchise Blitz.
Due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall, the game is said to include unspecified "new features and enhanced gameplay" along with a story mode penned by Playmakers scribe Peter Egan. Read more »
