Gaijin Games is continuing to drop PC ports of its rhythmic BIT.TRIP games at unexpected times in an unlikely order, like jazz scheduling, or scatduling as it's commonly known. Yesterday brought the surprise $10 PC release of the second game, BIT.TRIP CORE, with a little helping hand from Symphony developer Empty Clip Studios.

As well as being collected and 3D-itised for Nintendo 3DS in Bit.Trip Saga, Gaijin's whole retro-styled rhythm game series Bit.Trip bit is coming to retail shelves for Wii with new content in Bit.Trip Complete.
Along with the six Bit.Trip games released on WiiWare--Beat, Core, Void, Runner, Fate, and Flux--the Bit.Trip Complete collection will add new content and include bonus goodies. All six are getting new difficulty modes, online leaderboards, and challenges--120 in total. Read more »

It's time for your weekly spate of Nintendo downloads, and this week actually offers a few games you might be interested in. Virtual Console brings Mega Man X for $8 (800 Wii Points), the Super NES title that began the long cycle of Mega Man spin-offs to come.
On WiiWare, indecisive gamers can try a free demo for Bit.Trip Core, which should give you a good idea of whether you can subject yourself to that level of difficulty without going mad. Possibly less exciting is My Little Baby for $6. It's Nintendogs with little humans instead of Labrador puppies. Read more »

BIT.TRIP BEAT developer Gaijin Games has announced that the retro rhythm series will continue on Monday July 6 in the downloadable WiiWare game BIT.TRIP CORE.
CORE sees players blasting pixels as they whiz past to trigger notes in the chiptune soundtrack, with a two-player mode to let pairs make beautiful music together.
