Before Finishing Moves and the post-show TailGate, the crew also chats about how best to handle Weekend Confirmed's Game of the Year awards. If you've got some feedback, a preference, or some ideas about how you think it should be handled, make yourself heard in the show comments.

BioShock Infinite stunned game critics at E3 2011. The demo introduced us to an imaginative world, where a giant robot bird chases a magical girl through floating islands connected via magnetic sky rails. Set in an alternative 1900s America, Irrational Games' latest certainly showed no shortage of creativity. It had won our hearts.
And then it disappeared. And then came troubling news that key members of the team had departed. Suddenly, there were doubts if the year-old vertical slice we had seen could be sustained through a full game. Given the number of disparate elements--from vigors to tears to sky-lines to Elizabeth and more--could BioShock Infinite even feel cohesive?

In one scene in BioShock Infinite, Elizabeth runs up to an arcade machine, one she's been patiently waiting for. Apparently this long-in-development game was delayed three times, undoubtedly an "in" reference to Infinite's own lengthy production.
So color us unsurprised when creative director Ken Levine announced that BioShock Infinite would be delayed yet again. The new date is exactly one month after the original ship date: March 26th.

As potentially cool as it could be to use the BioShock's assortment of crazy powers in a deathmatch, BioShock 2's attempt at multiplayer was largely ignored. BioShock Infinite creator Ken Levine has confirmed the game has no multiplayer, debunking a long-running rumor.

It's made by indie developers Lazy 8 Studios, who some may recognize as the creators of Cogs. We found out more about this effort by speaking with Lazy 8's founder, Rob Jagnow.

More troubling news for BioShock Infinite. After reports of key departures from the studio, another report has surfaced, claiming that the long-rumored multiplayer modes for the game have been axed.
Two co-op modes have been reportedly cut, including a tower-defense mode that "never worked." Players would be placed into an arcade machine, where they would fight against waves of enemy toys. The second co-op mode was internally called "Spec-Ops," as it was similar to the co-op modes from the most recent Modern Warfare games. As in Call of Duty, players would work together in missions inspired by the single player campaign.
