Michel Ancel's lovely 2003 action-adventure game Beyond Good & Evil is being revamped for a downloadable release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, IGN reports.
Slated to arrive some time in 2011, Beyond Good & Evil HD will, according to IGN, support 1080p and boast revamped characters and textures plus a re-mastered score. There'll also be online leaderboards and, naturally, achievements/trophies. Read more »

Wrapping up the week of one-day sales on Ubisoft-published titles, digital distribution platform Steam is now selling a $10 bundle of four classic Ubisoft PC games: Beyond Good and Evil, Far Cry, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, and IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946.
The sale, which runs all weekend, pretty much punches rival Good Old Games in the face. Just yesterday, GOG began selling Ubisoft PC games, debuting Beyond Good and Evil and IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 at $10 each, with Far Cry and other games due soon. Read more »

GOG, fine purveyors of good old games, today announced an agreement with publisher Ubisoft to bring choice PC classics to the GOG.com digital download store.
The first three titles are already available on GOG for $9.99 apiece: Beyond Good and Evil, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946.

Ladygamers' Beyond Good & Evil fansite Jade's Edge has posted a Q&A with Tyrone Miller, PR manager at Ubisoft. Tyrone is asked about the game's name, the gameplay variety, lack of multiplayer, the Jade character, the game music, voice talent and the engine used for the game.

The US version of the Beyond Good & Evil demo has been released. Containing three levels like before, this demo version of the action adventure game should be more polished and less buggy.
