Larian Studios has issued a press release, confirming that their new RPG Riftrunner is being renamed to Beyond Devinity. This was already mentioned on the website of the U.S. publisher several days ago, but the name change is now world wide. Beyond Divinity is set in the same world as Larian's 2002 RPG Divine Divinity, and is due out in 2004.

According to this story on HomeLAN Fed, publisher Hip Games will publish the next RPG from Larian Studios, Riftrunner, in the U.S. The name of the game will be different though, Beyond Divinity (Riftrunner is set in the game world of Larian's first game Divine Divinity). According to the Hip Games website the game is due out February 24. There's also a new preview of the game here.

The guys at Larian Studios have announced their new project, Riftrunner. This RPG is set in the same world as the Larian Studios game Divine Divinity and will be released some time next year. "Using an enhanced version of the Divinity engine, and incorporating suggestions from the fan base, Riftrunner focuses on the strengths of its predecessor. Featuring a strong and compulsive storyline, a random quest generator, a new and unlimited character development system, and the unique interactive environment, Riftrunner is appealing to the true RPG fanbase".
