The first footage of WayForward's Batman: The Brave and the Bold video game has arrived, offering a glimpse of how the a boy and his blob developer is treating the caped crusader. The result includes WOOOOSH, KRAAAK, BAAAAM and a giant gorilla.

In a double-dose of Batman news, Warner Bros. Interactive have announced Batman: The Brave and The Bold for the Nintendo Wii and DS based on the cartoon of the same name. Both titles will be developed by WayForward Technologies, responsible for the recent a boy and his blob (Wii) and Contra 4 (DS).
The title will allow for co-operative play as Batman teams up with other DC Universe characters to solve crimes and fight evil. Players that own the game for the Wii and DS will be able to unlock Bat-Mite as a playable character in the Wii version and use his or her DS to control the action. The show, which is currently in its second season, airs on Cartoon Network in the United States. Read more »

Nintendo plans to continue the relationship it started with Beyoncé in her attention-getting 2009 ads for Rhythm Heaven. Clothes from the fashion line she co-created with her mother, designer Tina Knowles, will soon be available to download and use in Style Savvy for the DS and DSi. Players will be able to add five designs from the Deréon clothing line to use in creating personalized looks to sell in their virtual boutiques. Read more »
