Assault Heroes 2 Shots Herald Wednesday Release

Microsoft sent over a few new screenshots of Wanako Studios' Assault Heroes 2, reminding us that the downloadable Xbox 360 title is slated for release this week.

Priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10), the sequel follows up on the original Assault Heroes with more levels, dinosaurs, and outer space stages. It will be available for download from the console's online Xbox Live Marketplace beginning this Wednesday, May 14.

Assault Heroes 2 Hits XBLA May 14

Publisher Sierra has announced that the sequel to Wanako Studios' top-down arcade shooter Assault Heroes will arrive in the Xbox 360's online Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday, May 14.

Priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10), the downloadable title offers more levels, hijackable enemy vehicles, and outer space stages, complete with player-controlled spaceships.

Sierra Announces Assault Heroes 2

A sequel to Wanako Studios' popular top-down arcade shooter Assault Heroes is set for release this spring on Xbox Live Arcade, publisher Sierra Online announced today.

Assault Heroes 2 will expand the series into outer space, and include hijackable enemy vehicles, a slew of new levels and an enhanced cooperative gameplay mode. No price point was announced, though the game is likely to carry the same 800 Microsoft Points ($10) price as the original Assault Heroes.
