13Microsoft sent over a few new screenshots of Wanako Studios' Assault Heroes 2, reminding us that the downloadable Xbox 360 title is slated for release this week.
Priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10), the sequel follows up on the original Assault Heroes with more levels, dinosaurs, and outer space stages. It will be available for download from the console's online Xbox Live Marketplace beginning this Wednesday, May 14.

Read more »A sequel to Wanako Studios' popular top-down arcade shooter Assault Heroes is set for release this spring on Xbox Live Arcade, publisher Sierra Online announced today.
Assault Heroes 2 will expand the series into outer space, and include hijackable enemy vehicles, a slew of new levels and an enhanced cooperative gameplay mode. No price point was announced, though the game is likely to carry the same 800 Microsoft Points ($10) price as the original Assault Heroes.
