Frictional Games has announced that its terrifying survival horror Amnesia: The Dark Descent will be released on September 8.

Celebrating the inclusion of Penumbra Overture in the charity-driven pay-what-you-want Humble Indie Bundle, developer Frictional has briefly discounted the cost of pre-ordering its next game, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, by half.

Penumbra developer Frictional Games has released a moody teaser trailer with several minutes of gameplay from its latest survival horror, Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

"The idea is to convey as clearly as possible that the player is in control of the character throughout the whole game," Frictional explains. "There are no cut-scenes or any sort of moments where control is taken away to force the narrative forward." Read more »
