The Ensemble Studios website is now offering two bonus maps playable in Age of Mythology and Age of Mythology: The Titans, Black Sea & The River Styx. These maps were originally created for a Titans pre-order program, but now everyone can play them. Thanks Blues News.

Microsoft has released a trial version of Age of Mythology: The Titans, allowing you to play a portion of this recently released expansion pack. Here's what the 311mb download includes "In the trial version, you assume the role of the mighty Atlantean god Kronos as you advance through the third age on the random map The Marsh or play the tutorial and first scenario of the brand-new single player campaign". You don't need to own Age of Mythology to play the demo.

We received a press release from Microsoft Games announcing that a "Kings & Myths: The Age Collection" compilation package is now available at Best Buy, EB Games and GameStop. For $59.99 you'll get Age of Mythology, Age of Mythology: The Titans, Age of Empires II, Age of Empires II: The Conquerors and Sybex's Age of Mythology Strategy Guide.

Ensemble has released a new patch for Age of Mythology, updating the game to version 1.07. The patches fixes "many exploits and crashes", offers some unit balancing changes, and allows people to communicate with those who have the Titans expansion pack installed.

Due out in stores September 30, The Titans adds the Atlantean mythology, 12 new god powers, 18 new human units and 10 myth units to the game and of course the expansion features a new single-player campaign. MSRP is $34.95 (!).
