EA Canada's 3 on 3 NHL Arcade will be this week's lone Xbox Live Arcade release, Microsoft has announced. The downloadable game will sell for 800 MS Points ($10).
Xbox 360 owners will find the arcadey, power-up filled hockey title in the Xbox Live Marketplace come Wednesday, February 11. The PS3 version arrived last Thursday.

Mark my words, the shrunken goalie power-up will end up being NHL Arcade's equivalent of Mario Kart's near-unavoidable blue shell. Whoever has it will have smile deviously, knowing full well that when it's unleashed, opponents will cry "it's not fair!"
Don't forget, EA Canada has always said that 3 on 3 NHL Arcade isn't meant to be realistic or serious. The downloadble game hits PS3 and Xbox 360 in February for $10.

Electronic Arts and EA Canada today announced their second hockey game of the season, a downloadable "no rules" take on the sport dubbed 3 on 3 NHL Arcade.
Whereas EA Canada's NHL 09, released in September, provided a more realistic simulation of the brutal on-ice antics, NHL Arcade is said to pack "fast paced action, crushing hits and loads of room to experiment." Oh, and there will be power-ups. Read more »
