    With the discussion on how publishers use multiplayer as an incentive to keep gamers from trading in their games, it makes me wonder what if two versions of each game was released in stores.

    For example; Tomb Raider which is just the single player for a cheaper price, as well as Tomb Raider with Multiplayer as a separate product for a higher price point.

    I think this would be great if only to show how well the cheaper single player version would sell on release.

    Side note: Jeff Cannata asked "What if pre-orders offered the game at a discounted cost" steam has been doing this for year Get %10 off if you pre-order now, which is damn awesome.
