It kinda sounds like Jeff hasn't gotten that far into Tera if he's still talking about enjoying the look of new armor as he upgrades. About halfway through the level progression, the armor starts repeating, and you won't see anything new until you get to the recently released raids. It's really quite a bummer... if they had just spaced out how quick they give you the armor, that feeling would last longer, but they kinda blow it all up front.
