    Router suggestions for Garnett?

Cisco Linksys E4200 or Apple Airport Extreme, both very easy to manage (UI-wise) and have excellent throughput. Excellent throughput for both local network and toward Internet.

I currently have an Cisco Linksys E4200 with a Netgear WN2000RPT wireless--to-wired bridge for some non-wireless stuff. Stable and smooth. I get 50-60 Mbps on my MacBook from downstairs, even though it's behind reinforced concrete walls and floors. Highly recommended.

    But that's just my experience.

Check out this website for good advice: http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/

Like anything important and somewhat complex, you really have to read up on it and pick the right one for your environment.
