Is there anything sadder than a developer that just plain doesn't get anymore what makes their series special? Fable Heroes and Fable: The Journey are the two final nails that killed my love of the Fable series. Three started this decline with much of what made Fable great being removed. I never thought Fable was perfect, but love what it wants to be and greatly enjoy what it actually was... In the first and second game at least.

What do you think possesses a developer to completely sell a great series out completely, or do you think this is a symptom of the larger problem with Microsoft- that they want so desperately to one-up the Wii level success of Nintendo that they have completely missed out seeing that even Nintendo could not keep that up and chasing the mass market only lead to their decline.
