    So, there are rumors circulating that Valve is going to make a Stean-based console! While I doubt the varacity of these claims, I do hope they are true. I have been saying for about a year that Valve should do something like buy Onlive and let you buy games on one SKU, but have acess to them on both Steam and through the streaming service. The rumors hint of a much more literal console experience, with a box that is pretty much just a set-spec PC.

    I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I'm pretty critical of Valve at times because I love them and think they can be even better than they already are. I think that open systems have much more potential than closed ones.

    So, if the rumors are true, would you be willing to buy a Steam console?
