Can I ask a question, the argument/talk/discussion about handhelds what exactly is it? Is the conversation "the vita is going to struggle, and in the future the 3DS will struggle." or is the conversation "the 3DS is struggling right now, so that tells me the vita will struggle as well" because the latter of those 2 statements is a misperception IMO.
The 3DS was at 6.68 million units through the end of September, with 2 titles at plus a million shipped or sold. That's 2 titles out of what like twenty with a 1 out of every 6.6 attach rate at least. So after the holiday we should assume that the 3DS will be north of 10 million and by march they may be closer to that 16 million projected than first thought.
Plenty of software on the horizon. So are handhelds really struggling or is it just the need to have a story.
