I thought the comments on SOCOM 4's single player were right on the money. I was pretty excited to play the stealth missions - that's one of my favorite genres - but they were pretty disappointing. As I was playing them, I kept on thinking "How hard is it to make a stealth game and why aren't there more of them?"

I haven't seen a really good stealth game since before the Splinter Cell series was ruined. I haven't even seen a mediocre stealth game since then, either. Why is this genre so completely ignored by developers? Games like Spinter Cell and Thief did well, why aren't there more of them?

    • True stealth games are dead this generation, just like survival horror and tactical shooters. : RedSwirl
