After listening to the guys talk about Red Dead, I decided I really had to try it out. I love the story telling, the setting - I even love Mexico (despite what Garnett said) but I realize there is a glaring problem with the game (for me at least). That is namely that the combat is ridiculously easy. I'm playing on Expert Aim, and I realized that I haven't been killed once in a firefight the entire game. When I realized this, I TRIED to let someone kill me in the open and it took 20 seconds or so of guys shooting me. The combat is really starting to make the game boring. So the question is this: can Red Dead really be Game of the Year when you are simply going through the motions of the game without any serious roadblocks put in your way to struggle through?
