The Duke Nukem "discussion" was crazy. So there's no such thing as an IP that exists more than a few years after it first debuted? Right, we never we an license that was created more than 3 years ago in books, movies, tv, comics, etc. They would never work for "today's" generation, today's world is "like totally different". Absolutely asinine.
It's also interesting that people who wave the "innovate or die" battleflag seem to be perfectly happy with retreads and repetition as long as they happen to like the license.
