Totally disagree with Andrea regarding Duke Nukem. I think the only way finishing this game makes sense is if they make another game.
I also think it's idiotic to try and sell the game for $60.
There is no way Duke Nukem Forever will be a success in the traditional sense. 10 year development cycle, god knows how many millions of dollars spent, there's no way it can turn a profit. Doesn't matter what marketing scheme they use, it's not going to happen.
The ONLY objective Duke Nukem Forever should have is to get the Duke brand back into the greater gaming consciousness. Remind players that it's out there, and what it entails. And then build on that new-found awareness with another, better, more modern game.
If it were up to me, I would sell the game on Xbox Live, PSN and Steam for $20. That way, anybody with even the mildest curiosity or most distant memory can buy it. The game will lose money anyway. Putting it out there for as cheap as possible at least lets them get the brand back in front of as many eyes as possible.
