This is a thread about a game

Hey guys, do you remember hearing about some game that was kind of minecraftish (before Minecraft though) in that it was a huge sandbox world where you had to harvest resources to build things? It had a very surreal visual style and some esoteric name. There was supposed to be a whole network of AI dudes that build up cities and there were turrents and power networks and stuff.

Everyone was all jizzy about it when the guy made some preview videos but now I don't know how to find out if it ever released.
