I guess the days of Sony being synonymous with backwards compatibility is over. Was the initial reason I didn't pick up a PS3 after being a huge PS2 fan. I realize they added backwards compatibility but it wasn't enough for me, some of my favorite games weren't going to be supported out of the box.
