A little hard topic.
List some of games with the best looking hand on hand combat. ie: fluid animations, fluid hit detection etc. And no listing fighting games (or sports). Just action or beat em ups or what not.
An easy choice would be batman arkham, which has some of the most fluid looking combat systems around.
I remember Path of Neo having really good looking combat even though the graphics and gameplay was pretty shit. Little details like your character doing evasive maneuvers instead of the static 'block stance' is really cool imo.

And an old school choice: Super double dragon mainly for the really cool looking counter system. The first time the kung fu master dude caught my kick and flipped me was pretty kick ass.
