Out of curiosity, how many of you regularly like to try new things and new places? When you are visiting another town, do you try the mom and pop restaurant, or the Applebees? Do you get the Pepsi or Dave's Homemade Rootbeer? Do you stick to pizza or are you willing to try the Afghan fusion place?

For myself, I always look for something new and different. Sometimes this blows up in my face (Kombucha, various Taquerias) but sometimes I discover something awesome. Does the good outweigh the bad for you, or would you rather go to McDonalds and get a diet Sprite?
