Finally out of the hands of us Americans.......
The thing that made SH 2 the accepted crown jewel of the series wasn't the combat or pretty graphics (although I still think SH2 holds up really damn well) it was the complete and utter reflection of Harry Mason via the town itself which gave it the feeling of being its own entity. Every enemy you faced was a part of Harry's psyche coming back to judge him and how you acted gave you results that reflected more than the polarizing Good/Evil endings.
After the disappointments of 0rigins and Homecoming, I am hopeful that a different team takes into consideration what made SH work and find a way to bring it into the modern consoles. Don't cash in on sexy undead nurses, don't give us Pyramid Head, and make the game something that connects it to the main protagonist so that we feel he belongs there and he is on a journey of some sort.
