I agree with their logic. The PS3 Move can actually be used for a lot of traditional games, can get a lot of ports from Kinect (due to the webcam), can get a lot of ports from Wii, and can have its own unique games that combine the Wii control scheme AND webcam, too. It gives you force feedback along with superior motion control.

It is the more practical of the two control schemes. Kinect is built for amazing people who play it a couple times. Eventually, when you get tired of doing jumping jacks in front of your TV and you realize you are a horrible dancer, you look around and realize you moved your coffee table and couch to make room for... a game that should have gotten 2's.

And even if you DO like those 2-worthy games, PS3 Move'll have them, too.

The BEST solution would be to combine the two. Improve the webcam on the PS3 Move to add TRUE skeletal mapping OR add hand controls to grant Kinect fine control and force feedback. Or do both. It's inevitable, anyway.

Meanwhile, I suspect Nintendo will create a new console around wearing a headband and mind controlling your character into doing what you want. Coming 2013! The Nintendo Brainiac!
