When I don't like a game I stop playing it with no problem. L4D holds the special place of hating a game that I still long to play. Camping in a corner patiently waiting out all panic/cresendo events is a no brainer tactic because there is no counter to it. And it ruins VS for me.

L4D2 overall has better gameplay. But I keep wanting to go back to L4D to get away from chainsaws, sunlight, grenade launchers, and actually be worried about boomers and hunters again. And if they fixed corner camping it would be a glorious day indeed. I would play the original so much more.

Is it bad for me to keep holding on to hope for that? I don't want to give up on this great game yet.

Thrown under the bus? If that's how they do it, then I wish more companies would throw their older game... : Beelzebud
