They can't even get a Doom 4 sneak peak together with a year leadtime (originally announced at the last Quakecon). Doubt they'll meet this deadline either.

I'm sure the logic internally is, "Well, in a year, surely we'll be ready." Then a year rolls around and they're like, "Uh.... yeah, so about that..."
