The game looks awesome, GW1 was awesome, but i cant see any way that they can deliver on what they're promising.

I dont actually think it's possible to have a MMO without repetition, without grinding of some description. They go on like, "You kill a boss and then it respawn's and someone else kills it," and what exactly is the solution to this? Lengthy respawn timers like the old days with spawn camping? One off unique bosses ?! ie a boss that only spawns once per year! Heh.

No grind, what else do you do? Sure in GW1 you could PVP - but even that for faction was it's own form of grinding. How do they remotely think they can remove grinding? It's part of what makes a MMO. You repeat tasks, you're always grinding, or moving towards an end, but you never get there. If you do actually get there, that's when you have forums full of OMG NO MORE CONTENT?!

WHat they're proposing is effectively creating an 'unlimited' quantity of content. WHile i am certain they'll deliver an awesome game (as i loved GW1), i cant see how they can remotely live up to their pre-game promises. It wont be a non-event like the pre-WARhammer online promises, but i just cant see them delivering on what they're promising, and personally wish they'd stop pimping it. There's nothing gamers hate more than failure to deliver.
