Question: I'd love to use RB3 as a fun way to become moderately proficient at an instrument. I've never played a guitar before. Could I use Pro mode to learn how to play if I started at a lower difficulty, or is Pro designed more for actual musicians and less for those who aspire to play?

I'm not suggesting one use RB3 in lieu of actual music lessons. But if I didn't have the money nor inclination to buy a real instrument and go learn how to play, could I conceivably use RB3 to at least grasp the basics?
