So I bought Fallout 3 last summer and I just started playing again about a month ago. I really want the DLC (at least Broken Steel and The Pitt) but I hate the thought of spending money on GFWL. I'm willing to suck it up and buy this again to get the DLC, especially since you can get FO3 and all of the DLC for half the price of jsut the DLC on GFWL. Can I transfer my saved game files? Or do I have to start a new character?

Alternatively, I'm giving serious thought to Oblivion since I only played through it half way once without any DLC. Thoughts?
