Is it the first when Battlefield 1942 and 2 had coop modes? Granted those were humans vs bots on the MP maps but they still called it coop. This sounds pretty much the same except there are waves of enemies like invasion / horde mode / firefight rather than straight up respawning like the Battlefields of old.
