    so I'm reading about ZFS and just drooling over all the features http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZFS

    are there any awesome filesystems that are nearing 'stable' that can do a lot of the ZFS stuff? all I ever use is ext3 (well, I guess 4 is out now)

      I am pretty sure ZFS is in its own class. It's a shame that it's not really bootable anywhere but solaris... : YanksThis person is cool!
