    I never pay $49 for a steam game because it simply isn't worth that much on Steam. They need to subtract out:

    A. The cost of the dics/box/manual (yeah - all 3 pages these days): $1 to $3
    B. The trade in value (since I can't resell once done). $10 to $15

    That is going to apply to any retail game that requires SteamWorks also.
